BALH (British Association for Local History) aims to encourage interest and enthusiasm for local history amongst learners of all ages and to share and promote best practice, knowledge and skills. It is the national charity promoting local history and serving local historians throughout the UK.
Membership can either be individual or society and Sandbach History Society has annual membership and members of the Society can obtain a discount on BALH webinars. These usually cost £5 but by quoting the SHS discount code the admission fee is reduced to £3.
