The programme for 2022-23 started with our first meeting on Tuesday September 6th at 8pm at Sandbach Library with a talk by Dave Thomas from Tatton Farm entitled “Down on the Farm”.
The October meeting took place on October 4th in Sandbach Library when Tony Bostock gave a talk entitled ‘Cheshire Knights and their Ladies.
Visit to Congleton Museum – Nov 1st
Aileen Thompson reports that the twenty-four people who were able to attend the visit to Congleton Museum on Nov 1st had an enjoyable and instructive visit. Linda and Graham Hulse and John Pemberton looked after everyone splendidly with two talks , one about the coins and the other about the museum followed by refreshments. Our thanks to the museum.
